Beta rules
What the beta is
Drakhen is in beta: the whole game is playable, and we are tuning it with real players. Numbers, items and rules can change during the beta — XP, loot, prices, creatures and skills. The rates (XP, loot, gold, respawn, dungeon entries) can be adjusted while the server is running.
The rules of the world
- The level cap is 50.
- PvP only in Fort Ravenmoor (level 15+, the island and its bridge): there, players outside your party can attack you, and dying drops everything you carry. Everywhere else players cannot attack each other.
- Each account has up to 5 characters, but only one of them can be in the world at a time. Logging in with another character takes the first one out (already saved).
- Character names are unique on the server.
- Loot is always personal. Nobody can take your loot bag.
What is saved
With an account, everything is saved: level, XP, gold, bank, backpack, equipment, skill tree, your current hunt, dungeon entries, position, food, hotkeys and settings. The game saves every 30 seconds, when you leave and when the connection drops. If you were inside a dungeon, you come back at the Portal Hall; if you were dead, at the Temple.
Guests start at level 1 and are not saved. They cannot trade, open stalls or buy from stalls: create an account for that.
Chat and behavior
There is no word filter. Admins can mute a player for a while, and you can Ignore anyone from the right-click menu. Do not ask anyone for their wallet's secret phrase, and never give yours.
Reporting a problem
- If your character jumps back while walking, open Settings → Copy movement log and send the text with your report.
- Tell us your character, what you were doing and where it happened.
